From Shin-Takaoka Station to Tonami Station: About 20 min via the JR Johana Line.

From Takaoka Station (JR Hokuriku Main Line): Take the JR Johana Line bound for Johata and get off at Tonami Station (about 20 min). It is about 15 min by taxi from the South Exit.
By Car: Exit the Hokuriku Expressway at Tonami IC and continue along Route 156 for about 10 km (about 15 min).

A place surrounded by old pines on the river side of Sho River where the beautiful view will heal you. Ayu (sweetfish) dishes grilled over charcoal can be enjoyed between April and November, as well as other ayu dishes.

From Takaoka Station (JR Hokuriku Line): Take the JR Johana Line bound for Johana and get off at Tonami Station (25 min). It is 10 min by taxi from there.
By car: Exit the Hokuriku Expressway at Tonami IC and continue on Route 359 for about 2 km (about 3 min), then Route 156 for about 5 km (about 7 min).

From JR Takaoka Station (Ainokaze Toyama Railway): 30 minutes on foot, or 5 minutes by taxi.
There is also a Manyosen streetcar departing from Takaoka Station. Get off at Kyukan Iryo Center-mae Station (about 8 minutes). About 1 minute on foot (following the railway line.)

How to get there?
From Shin-Takaoka Station (Hokuriku Shinkansen): Take the World Heritage (sekai-isan) Bus bound for Shirakawago and Gokayama. The bus is also available from Johana Station (JR Johana Line). Get off at the Shirakawago bus stop (Seseragi-koen) (last stop) and transfer to the World Heritage Bus bound for Takaoka. Get off at the Kaimugura bus stop. It is 1 min on foot from there.

Shuttle service to the hotel is available for guests getting off at Suganuma and Ainokura to sightsee Gokayama (World Heritage Sight), if requests are made in advance.
