From JR Niigata Station Bandai Exit: Take the bus to Sado Kisen Bus Stop (about 15 minutes). Then take the ship to Sado Ryotsu-ko Port (about 60 minutes). Take the bus bound for Sawada and get off at Yahata Onsen (about 60 minutes). About 2 minutes on foot from there.
By car: From Sado Ryotsu-ko Port, take Route 350 for about 30 minutes (17 km). Turn left at Sado Museum.

By car: Exit the Hokuriku Expressway at Niigata-nishi IC and continue along Route 8 for about 40 minutes (13 km). Head towards the Sado Kisen Noriba (wharf).
