By car: Exit the Tohoku Expressway at Nishinasuno-Shiobara IC and continue along Route 400 for about 15 km (about 25 min).
Hotel Select-Inn Nishinasuno-Ekimae

How to get there?
From Nishinasuno Station West Exit (JR Tohoku Main Line): immediate access.
By car: 5km (10 min) after exiting the Tohoku Expressway at Nishinasuno-Shiobara IC.
Hotel parking lot: 30 vehicles (first-come first-served, reservation not available). When full, a municipal parking lot (100m from hotel) is available for a fee. Note that large vehicles cannot be parked here.
Hotel Tamano

How to get there?
From Nozaki Station (JR Utsunomiya Line): 5 minutes on foot.
By car: From Yaita IC, take Route 4 towards Kuroiso and take a right at the second 7-Eleven convenience store. Turn right again at the end of the road and continue for about 200 m. The hotel will be on the righthand side.
Shofuro Matsuya
The rooms, indoor baths, and open-air baths of this hotel are all located within a quiet, scenic valley. The seasonal kaiseki cuisine changes monthly and is quite popular.

From Nasu-Shiobara Station (Tohoku Shinkansen) West Exit: Walk straight along Ekimae-dori for about 3 minutes. The hotel will be on the left past the 7-eleven store.
By car: Exit the Tohoku Expressway at the Kuroiso-Itamuro IC and continue along the Otawara Kitabayashi prefectural route towards the JR Nasu-Shiobara Station. For guests arriving by large vehicles, please make sure to contact the hotel in advance. (Parking not available during Golden Week holidays, consecutive holidays, summer and weekends). If the parking is full, please use the nearby pay parking lot (JPY 400-500 for 24 hours).

By car: Exit the Tohoku Expressway at Kuroiso-Itamuro IC and continue along Prefecture Route 369. The hotel is near the entrance of the street heading towards Miyama Dam from Prefectural Route 369.

By car: Exit the Tohoku Expressway at Nishinasuno Shiobara IC and continue along Route 400 for about 20 min (14 km). Turn left at the Fukuwatari intersection.
Onsen Ryokan Yamaki
Opened in 2008, this small hotel has only 8 rooms, making for a quiet, relaxing stay. Like a hidden getaway, the hotel offers delicious food, soothing hot springs, and a pleasant time.
How to get there?
From Kuroiso Station (JR Tohoku Main Line) or Nasushiobara Station (JR Tohoku Shinkansen): about 30 min by taxi at around JPY 6,000 (as of Dec. 2008).
From JR Kuroiso Station: Take the Toya Kotsu bus bound for Itamuro Onsen. Last bus at around 17:10.
From JR Nasushiobara Station West Exit: Pick-up service available from 14:30 to 14:45 only. Reservation is required in advance.
By car: Exit the Tohoku Expressway at Kuroiso-Itamuro IC and continue along Prefectural Routes 53, 30, and 369 for about 20 min.
