By car: Exit the Hokkaido Expressway at the Ashoro IC and continue along Route 241 for about 110 km (about 120 min), then along Route 391 for about 30 km (about 40 min).

By car: Exit the Doto Expressway at Ashoro IC and continue along Routes 242 and 241 for about 63 km (about 60 min). At the forked road (with left leading to Teshikaga and the right to Kushiro), take the road to Kushiro and turn right 50 m ahead.
Hotel AreaOne Kushiro
Opened after renovation in May 2015, this hotel is just 5 minutes on foot from Kushiro Station. It has free parking and Internet connection. They are now serving a buffet breakfast since Sept. 11.
How to get there?
From Kushiro Airport: about 30 min by taxi at around JPY 6,000 or about 45 min by bus at around JPY 940 (as of Feb. 2015).
From Kushiro Station (JR Nemuro Line): about 5 min on foot or 1 min by taxi at around JPY 550 (as of Feb. 2015). Last train is at around 22:00.
By car: Take Route 38 heading towards Kushiro Station.
Lake Akan Tsuruga Wings

By car: Exit the Hokkaido Expressway at Kamikawa IC and continue along Route 39 for about 120 min (95 km), then Route 243 for about 120 min (95 km). Near Lake Kussharo.
