Lamp no Yado Aoni Onsen
This is a solitary two-story wooden building, lit up by lanterns and located in a valley. There are baths for men and women (separate bathing) in the main building and open-air baths in the outside space.
How to get there?
From Aomori Airport: Take the bus bound for Hirosaki and get off at Hirosaki Bus Terminal (about 55 minutes). Then take the bus to Kuroishi (about 45 minutes). Then take the bus bound for Nurukawa and get off at Niji-no-Ko Koen (about 35 minutes). About 15 minutes by taxi from there.
By car: Exit the Tohoku Expressway at Kuroishi IC and continue along Route 102 for about 30 minutes (18 km).
Kazennosyo
This simple Japanese-style inn features tatami floors, bringing forth a traditional ambience. Female guests are free to pick out a yukata (light cotton robe) in the color of their choice.
How to get there?
From Kuroishi Station (Konan Railway Line) North Exit: Take the Konan Bus for Itadome/Okawara/Nurukawa and get off at the Tsugaru Kokeshikan bus stop (about 30 min). About 3 minutes on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Tohoku Expressway at Kuroishi IC and continue along Route 102 for about 12 minutes (6 km).
