By car: Exit the Kyushu Expressway from Matsubase IC and take Route 266 for about 40 km (about 60 min).

From Kumamoto Station (JR Kagoshima Line): Take the bus bound for Sanko-shako-mae and get off at Hondo Bus Center (about 150 minutes). It takes about 7 minutes by taxi from there.
