From Tsuruoka Station on the JR Uetsu Honsen Line: Take a bus bound for Yutagawa Onsen (25 minutes). Get off at the Yutagawaonsen stop. The inn is 2 minutes on foot.

Hagurokan
The first and second floors were remodeled and reopened in 2007. The building was constructed with a large amount of Akita cedar, delivering warmth and relaxation to the air of the hotel.

Hanayubi Nihonkai

Tamaya
This small ryokan, with only 8 rooms, is situated in the Yudagawa Hot Spring town and features three reservable hot spring baths: two larger cypress baths and one semi-open-air bath with a view. The cuisine here is carefully prepared with a focus on local ingredients, and meals are served in a private setting for guests' enjoyment.

Kameya (Yunohama Onsen)
All of our rooms have a bath with a view of the Sea of Japan. We have a large bath, open-air bath and hinoki-buro (a cypress bath) as well. The view of the sunset is also highly recommended.

Umibe-no-Yado Miyakoya

From Tsuruoka Station (JR Uetsu Line): Take a bus bound for Haguro Sancho (top of Mt. Haguro) and get off at Aramachi Bus Stop after about 35 minutes. Walk straight forward for about 1 minute, and the hotel will be on the right.
Yusuitei Isagoya
This ryokan (Japanese-style hotel) is on the beach of Shonai sand dunes. You can see the sea from every room, and the view of the setting sun is beautiful. The ryokan has 5 baths to use and their traditional, elegant Japanese kaiseki dishes are quite popular among guests.
