How to get there?
From Niigata Station (JR Jo-etsu Shinkansen): Take the JR Uetsu Line to Sakamachi Station (about 40 minutes). Then take a JR Yonesaka Line train bound for Yonezawa and get off at Echigo-Shimoseki Station (about 12 minutes). About 15 minutes by taxi from there.
By car: Exit the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway at Arakawa-Tainai IC and continue along Route 113 for about 25 km. Head towards Takanosu Campsite.

From Niigata Station (JR Joetsu Shinkansen): Take the JR Uetsu Main Line and get off at Sakamichi Station (60 min). Then transfer to the JR Yonesaka Line and get off at Echigo-Shimoseki Station (10 min). From there it takes about 20 min on foot or 5 min by taxi.
By car: Exit the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway at the Arakawa Tainai IC and continue along Route 113 for about 15 km (20 min) heading towards the Sekikawamura roadside station.

By car: Exit the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway at Arakawa-Tainai IC and continue along Route 113 for about 20 minutes (18 km).
