[Hot Spring]
Ride a cable car and admire the delightful scenery of one of Japan's top three secluded regions while heading down to one of the country's best hot springs. This hotel offers guests the chance to have a soothing soak in an open-air bath with hot spring water flowing naturally from its source, a rarity in Shikoku.
It takes about 5 minutes to the open-air bath approximately 170 meters below. Hop on the cable car and take a leisurely ride down the cliff on a 42-degree decline. Separate baths for males and females are filled with hot spring water that flows from the source. Take a relaxing soak and feel one with nature as you enjoy breathtaking views of the Iya River and the Iya Valley mountains right before your eyes.

[Guest Rooms]
Japanese-style guest rooms with tatami floors, exuding a traditional style atmosphere, are provided. The rooms feature a combination of Japanese and Western aesthetics, offering guests a tranquil place to rest. There are different types of guest rooms, from standard rooms to rooms with a sweeping view of Iya Valley, and those with open-air baths or panoramic baths. (There are 3 rooms furnished with beds.)

How to get there?
From Oboke Station (JR Dosan Line): Take the bus bound for Awa-Ikeda and alight at Nishiu (about 8 minutes). The hotel is about 2 minutes on foot from the stop.

Bath Hours: The open-air bath and large communal bath operate until 23:00 in the evening and from 6:00 in the morning.

Must-see!
A free shuttle service takes guests to the Kazurabashi bridge which is illuminated every night from 20:00. For those who would like to go, please inform the front desk staff on the day.
Don't miss the magical sight of the illuminated Kazurabashi! (time required: 30 min)

From Awa-Ikeda Station (JR Dosan Line): 60 min by bus to the Hotel Kazurabashi bus stop and 1 min on foot from there.
By car: 50 min from Tokushima Expressway Ikawa-Ikeda IC.

How to get there?
From Oboke Station (JR Dosan Line): About 20 minutes by taxi at around JPY 3,000 (as of Nov. 2008).
By bus: Take a Shikoku Kotsu Iya bus and get off at Kazura Bashi bus stop. It is right near the stop.
By car: Exit the Tokushima Expressway at Ikawa-Ikeda IC and continue along Route 192 to Route 32 heading towards Kazura Bashi (vine suspension bridge).

From Oboke Station (JR Dosan Line): Take a Shikoku Kotsu bus bound for Kazurabashi to the Hikyonoyu stop (about 15 min). The hotel is just in front of the bus stop.
By car: About 40 min from Tokushima Expressway Ikawa-Ikeda IC.

By car: Exit the Tokushima Expressway at Ikawa-Ikeda IC and continue along Route 32 for about 30 minutes (25 km).

This Japanese-style inn is located by the crystal-clear stream of the Yoshino River. It is known as the inn where Fumiko Hayashi, a famous Japanese writer, stayed in 1941. Guests can enjoy sightseeing in the Oboke and Iya Valley area, join a rafting tour, or walk around the Kurozo Marsh. This is also a good location for visiting the sites of the Shikoku Pilgrimage.

From Awa-Ikeda Station (JR Dosan Line): About 8 minutes by taxi.
By car: Exit the Tokushima Expressway at Ikawa Ikeda IC and continue along Route 32, then Route 192 for about 8 minutes (5 km). Head towards the Ikeda Ohashi Bridge.
