Yamamizuki Bettei Miyama Sansou
Opened on the 20th of October 2014. Here guests will find a warm and authentic Japanese scenery with 8 annex buildings and 16 guest rooms built like a village. Free shuttle bus services available from Kurokawa Onsen Bus Stop.
How to get there?
From Kumamoto Airport: About 90 min by taxi at around JPY 11,000 (as of Oct. 2014); about 150 min by bus at around JPY 1,750 (as of Oct. 2014); about 80 min by car.
By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at the Hita IC and continue along Prefectural Route 442 towards Kurokawa Onsen entrance and near a gas station. It takes about 1 hour from Hita IC to the hotel.
From Kurokawa Onsen Bus Stop: A hotel shuttle service is available.
Satonoyu-Waraku

Shinmeikan

By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at Hita IC, and continue along Route 212 for about 60 minutes (40 km), then on to Route 442 for about 20 minutes (15 km) towards the Cosmo Oil service station.

By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at Hita IC and continue along Route 210 and 212 for about 40 km (about 60 min), then Route 442 for about 15 km (about 15 min). Look out for the sign for the hotel (Kurokawaso) located along Route 442.

Yumerindo
All rooms look out onto the mountain stream and Japanese/Western-style rooms with semi open-air baths are available. Only 5 groups are accommodated each night, allowing guests to enjoy a peaceful stay.

From Kumamoto Airport: Take a Kyushu-Odan Bus bound for Beppu to the Kurokawa-Onsen bus stop (100 min). It is about 8 min on foot from there.
Hozantei, Kurokawa Spa
Situated upriver from the Kurokawa Onsen area, Hozantei is a calming spa resort where you can be fully relaxed with nature. Hozantei's bath waters are naturally flowing and are not recycled. From Fukuoka Airport Terminal 2: There is a direct service from the bus stop in front of the terminal. *There are only two services, one that leaves at 9:40 and another at 14:34. In case of rent-a-car service, it takes about 2 hours.
From Aso Station (JR Hohi Line): Ride a bus to the inn. There are 5 trips, departures of which are: 10:30 / 11:30 / 12:30 / 14:30 / 17:30.
By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at Hita IC and continue along Route 212 towards the Kurokawa Onsen Bus Stop.
Yamashinobu

By Kyushu Oudan Bus: About 3 hr from JR Kumamoto Station; about 50 min from Aso Station. Get off at Kurokawa Onsen Station and it is about 25 min on foot or about 5 min by taxi (a shuttle service is available).
By car: Exit the Kyushu Oita Expressway at Hita IC and continue along Route 212 for about 1 hr towards Oguni.
Yamabiko Ryokan
