By car: Exit the Meishin Expressway at Kyoto-higashi IC and continue along National Route (former Sanjo-dori) for about 10 km (about 20 min), then Prefectural Route (former Niomon-dori) for less than 1 km (about 1 min). Head towards Nanzen-ji Sando.

By car: Exit the Meishin Expressway at Kyoto Higashi IC. Pass through the Higashiyama Tunnel and make a right turn at the first set of traffic lights. It will be across from the Kennin-ji Temple West Gate.
