How to get there?
From JR Taketa Station (Hohi Main Line): 30 minutes by taxi.
By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at the Kokonoe IC. Take National Route 210 for approximately 40 km, then change to Prefectural Route 681, and continue on National Routes 387 and 442 for about 60 minutes.

How to get there?
From Kumamoto Airport: Take the Express Yamabiko Bus bound for Oita and get off at Miyaji Station (about 60 minutes). Alternatively, take a taxi to the hotel (about 90 minutes).
By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at Hita IC and continue along Route 212 for about 40 km (about 50 minutes), then Route 442 for about 30 km (about 40 minutes). Head towards Taketa from the Senomoto Intersection for about 5.5 km and make a right turn.
The shuttle service requires a reservation at least 3 days in advance. If there are no reservations, the service will not be in operation.
Resonate Club Kuju

How to get there?
From Oita Airport: Take the bus to Yufuin Station. A free hotel shuttle service is available from the station to the hotel (90 min).
By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at Hita IC and continue along National Route 212 to 442 for about 80 minutes (55 km). Then travel along Prefectural Route 669 for about 10 minutes (5 km). The hotel is 600 meters ahead of the Guernsey Farm.
Shukubo Kawaseminosho

How to get there?
From Oita Airport: Take an Airliner Bus bound for Oita Station and get off at Oita Station (about 50 minutes). From Oita Station Main Exit, take the JR Hohi Line to Bungo-Taketa Station (about 60 minutes). Then take a Kuju/Nagayu Route Bus bound for Nagayu and get off at the Nagayu Onsen bus stop (about 45 minutes). It is about 15 minutes by taxi or 4 minutes on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at Yufuin IC and continue along Route 210 for about 17 km (about 15 minutes), then Prefectural Route 30 (Shonai Kuju Road) for about 16 km (about 15 minutes). Turn right at Shonai City Office, then turn left at the sign for Nagayu Onsen.
Marucho Ryokan
This small, simple inn is nestled quietly by the Seri River. Established for more than 100 years, this Japanese-style inn offers delicious food and heartfelt hospitality.
How to get there?
From Oita Airport: Take the express bus to Oita. Then take the JR Hohi Line to Bungo-Taketa Station. Then take the bus bound for Nagayu Onsen and get off at Nagayu Onsen (about 40 minutes). The hotel is about 3 minutes on foot from the bus stop.
By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at Yufuin IC and continue along Route 210 for about 10 minutes (9 km), then cross the red bridge on your right. Continue straight, and turn left at the antique shop towards Naoiri.
Yukimiso
This hotel is a one-story building about 2 kilometers away from Nagayu Onsen town. Fully enjoy the quiet of Mother Nature and gaze out onto the star-studded sky from the open-air bath.
How to get there?
From Oita Airport: Take the bus to Oita Station (approx. 60 min). Then take the JR Trans-Kyushu Limited Express train to Bungo-Taketa Station. Finally take the Hohi Route Bus bound for Nagayu-Onsen and get off at Nagayu-Shako. About 5 min by taxi from there.
By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at Yufuin IC and continue along National Route 210 for about 20 min (15 km), then along Prefectural Route 621 for about 20 min (15 km). Turn right by the Shonai town office kojin kagura bronze statue.
Daimaru Ryokan
A long standing ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) set in the heart of the Nagayu Onsen hot springs district. The water for the hot spring baths is drawn from four different sources. One of the open-air baths, nicknamed "Ramune" after a popular fizzy drink, has drawn attention throughout the country for its carbonated natural water.
How to get there?
From Oita Airport: Take the express bus to JR Oita Station. Then, take the JR train to Bungo-Taketa Station. Exit the station and take the bus bound for Nagayu Onsen and get off at the last stop. About 3 minutes on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at Yufuin IC and continue along Route 210 for about 10 minutes, then take the Koiki Nodo Road for about 30 minutes. Head towards Yunohira Onsen.
