How to get there?
From JR Osaka Station to Banshu Ako Station:
Take the JR Sanyo Main Line Special Rapid Service bound for Banshu Ako and alight at Banshu Ako Station. *Some trains require a transfer at Himeji.
Time required: Osaka to Banshu Ako, about 1 hr 40 min.

From Banshu Ako Station: About 10 min by taxi at around JPY 1,500.
By bus:
1. Take a Shinki Bus bound for Hoyo Center from JR Banshu Ako Station to the Ako-koko-nishi bus stop (about 20 min). It is about 5 min on foot from there.
2. Take the Kanko-shuyu sightseeing bus (runs on weekends and holidays only) from JR Banshu Ako Station to the Satsuki-cho bus stop (Ako Park Hotel) (about 15 min).

*Pickup for guests staying at this hotel is available from JR Banshu Ako Station at 15:40 and 16:40 if reserved in advance.

From Banshu-Ako Station (JR Ako Line): Take the bus bound for the Hoyo Bus Center and get off at Misaki (15 min). The inn is about 5 minutes on foot from the bus stop.
By car: Exit the Sanyo Expressway at Ako IC and continue for about 15 minutes (7km).

How to get there?
From Banshu-Ako Station (JR Ako Line): 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by taxi. Alternatively, take the West Shinki bus on the South Exit bound for Hoyo Center and get off at Kenju-mae bus stop after about 6 minutes. The hotel is about 2 minutes on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Sanyo Expressway at Ako IC and continue for about 7 min (5 km).

How to get there?
From Itami Airport/Kansai International Airport/Okayama Airport: about 67 minutes by taxi at around JPY 22,600 (as of January 2015).
By train: Take the Shinkansen line to JR Himeji Station. From there, transfer to the JR Sanyo Main Line and get on a local train to Banshu-Ako Station (8 stations, 33 min). From there it takes about 15 minutes by taxi at around JPY 2,000 (as of January 2015). Last train departs at around 12 midnight. Free pick up service also available at Banshu-Ako Station.
By car: Drive along the Chugoku Expressway to Sanyo Expressway and exit at the Ako IC. Continue along Prefectural Route 32 heading towards the Iwatsuhime Shrine.
