Hakone Yumoto Onsen Tenseien
This recently re-opened ryokan offers both of Hakone's most attractive features: gorgeous scenery and steamy hot springs. Tenseien adjoins a beautiful garden which is home to two waterfalls and Tamadare Shrine, and is equipped with a variety of baths, including a large open-air bath on the roof of the hotel. A relaxing time in Hakone is easily within reach here!

From Hakone-Yumoto Station (Hakone Tozan Line): 12 min on foot.
Buses going directly from Yumoto Bus Terminal to Tenseien via the Takidori road are also available.
Hotel Green Plaza Hakone
You can see the whole view of Mt. Fuji, Lake Ashinoko and Owakudani from the hotel, and also from the open-air hot spring bath.
How to get there?
From Hakone-Yumoto Station (Hakone Tozan Railway): Take a bus bound for Hakone-en/Kojiri to the Ubako bus stop (about 35 min). It is 5 min on foot from there.

From JR Shinjuku Station, West Exit: Head to bus platform no. 35 in front of Odakyu Halc and take an Odakyu Highway bus bound for Hakone to the Onsenso bus stop (about 2 hr). It is 5 min by hotel shuttle bus from there.
From Odakyu Shinjuku Station: Take a train bound for Hakone and alight at Hakone-Yumoto Station (about 2 hr). From there take a bus bound for Hakone-en/Kojiri to the Ubako bus stop (about 35 min). It is 5 min on foot from there.
Alternatively, take a Hakone-bound train from Shinjuku Station and alight at Odawara Station (about 1.5 hr). From there take a bus bound for Hakone-en/Kojiri to the Ubako bus stop (about 45 min). It is 5 min on foot from there.

By car: From Gotemba IC on the Tomei Expressway, take National Route 138 for about 10 km (about 15 min), then change to Prefectural Route 75 and continue for 5 km (10 min) to reach Ubako Station.
*Ubako-dori road in front of the hotel is partially closed off to large-size vehicles, so please approach from the direction of Lake Ashi if arriving by large bus or other large vehicle.

Ryuguden

From Hakone-Yumoto Station (Odakyu Line): Take a Izu-Hakone Bus bound for Hakone-en and get off at the Ryuguden-mae bus stop (about 65 min). Immediate access from there.
By car: Exit the Tomei Expressway at Atsugi IC and continue along the Odawara-Atsugi Road for about 52 km (about 45 min), then take Route 1.
Hakone Kogen Hotel

From Hakone-Yumoto Station (Odakyu Romancecar): Take the Hakone-Tozan Bus bound for Kojiri Togendai and get off at Shirayuridai (about 45 minutes). The hotel is about 5 minutes on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Tomei Expressway at Gotemba IC and continue along National Route 138 for about 20 minutes (11 km), then Prefectural Route 75 for about 10 minutes (5 km). Head towards Visitor Center.
Hakone Hotel

How to get there?
From Haneda Airport: Take the JR Tokaido Line to Odawara Station. Then take the Hakone-Tozan Railway bound for Hakone-Yumoto and get off at Hakone-Yumoto Station (about 20 min). Transfer to a Hakone-Tozan Bus bound for Hakonemachi-ko and get off at the Hakone Hotel-mae bus stop (about 40 min). It is less than 1 min on foot from there.
From Mishima Station (JR Tokaido Line): Take a Tokai Orange Shuttle bus bound for Motohakone-ko to the Hakone Hotel-mae bus stop (about 40 min). It is less than 1 min on foot from there.
By car: Exit Odawara-Atsugi Road from Hakoneguchi IC and take Hakone Shindo for about 17 km (about 25 min), then Prefectural Route 75 for about 2 km (about 5 min). Landmark: Hakone Sekisho-ato.
*From Jan. to Feb. there is a possibility of snowfall, so please bring studless tires or snow chains.

Fukuzumiro
Fukuzumiro, well-loved by authors and artists, is a traditional estate stretching far back from the main entrance and street, creating a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. Located close to Hakone Yumoto Station, it features natural hot spring baths supplied with water right from the source which are open 24 hours a day. This classical Japanese-style ryokan is a registered tangible cultural property as designated by the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs. In the interest of preserving the building, the 18 guest rooms are not equipped with bathing facilities or toilets to avoid water damage.

From Odawara Station (JR Tokaido Main Line): Take the Hakone Tozan Railway bound for Hakone Yumoto to Hakone Yumoto Station (about 15 min). It is about 10 min on foot or about 2 min by taxi from there.

Hotel Okada

Hakone Hachiri no Yu
Hachiri no Yu opened on April 25, 2016! This quiet, relaxing inn offers guests a perfect retreat amid nature in Hakone Gora Onsen. Guests can also enjoy a constant and free-flowing hot-spring which is rich in dissolved content (2,270 grams). The Main Building has Japanese rooms while the annex consists of Western rooms.
How to get there?
From Shinjuku Station: Take the Romancecar to Hakone-Yumoto Station (about 85 min). Then take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Gora Station (about 35 min). Then take a Hakone-Tozan Bus to the Miyagino Shisho-mae bus stop (about 3 min at around JPY 170). Alternatively, it is about 3 min by taxi.

Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu
This ryokan that features an open-air bath in every guestroom opened in the spring of 2017. This ryokan features a concept of nature and Japanese-style hospitality. In guestrooms equipped with an open-air bath, guests can enjoy their own personal view of the mountains of Hakone, and for dinner, they will be served Japanese-style creative cuisine in the dining room.
The lodging can also provide a change of menu for staying guests.
Additionally, at Soba Kihinkan - a tangible cultural property of Japan - guests can savor sushi, tempura, soba noodles, and suki nabe hot pot. The Hakone Takuminoyado Yoshimatsu

Kappa Tengoku
Situated a mere 3 minutes on foot from Hakone Yumoto Station, this hotel has its own 2 hot spring sources that bring forth naturally flowing hot springs where guests can take a calming soak. The foot bath may be used free of charge.

From Hakone-Yumoto Station (Odakyu Line): Take a bus bound for Hakonemachi and get off at the Hakonemachi bus stop (about 40 min). It is about 3 min on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Tomei Expressway at Atsugi IC and continue along Odawara-Atsugi Road for about 40 min, then Route 1 (Hakone Shindo) for about 20 min. Head towards Hakone Checkpoint (Hakone Sekisho) or Lake Ashi.
Hakone Gora Shinzan
Located in front of Mt. Myojogatake, one of the sommas of Hakone, this hotel prides itself on delicious Japanese-style food & rooms built in the style of a tea ceremony house.
How to get there?
From Shinjuku Station: Take the Romancecar to Hakone-Yumoto Station (90 min). Transfer to the Hakone Tozan Line and get off at Gora Station (35 min). It is about 7 min via shuttle service from there.
*The shuttle service departs from in front of the police box behind Gora Station, and operates from 13:30 to 18:00.

By car: From Tomei Expressway, take the Odawara Atsugi Road. Exit at Hakoneguchi IC and continue along Route 1 heading towards Hakone area for about 16 km.
Gora Hanaougi Madoka no Mori
One of the three inns from the Gora Hanaougi Group, the Madoka no Mori provides its guests with a traditional Japanese feel. The tatami-laden rooms and surrounding trees all add to the ambience.

[Hot Springs]
All rooms have open-air baths in addition to the large communal bath and open-air bath.
The large communal bath draws water from a source different from that of the guest room baths.
There is an open-air bath surrounded by trees as well as a neyu lying bath.

[Facility]
The entire hotel features tatami mat floors, and a design that centers on a circular motif.
The front desk features a zelkova wood counter. Farther in is a lounge with a hearth, around which guests can enjoy sipping a cup of coffee.
Look forward to unwinding at the Kodama bar, which offers a space much like a hidden retreat. Head past the earthen door on to the spacious counter, and take your pick from the drinks available.
On site are two ganban'yoku (stone sauna) rooms with a 45-minute reservation system.
There is also an aesthetic facility, Mori, which is surrounded by a forest. There are rooms with services exclusively for couples.

[Guestrooms]
All rooms non-smoking.
Depending on the type of guestroom, guests may be served meals at the room or the restaurant.
A set of Amanohada shampoo, conditioner and body soap and Sasawashi natural pig hair bristle toothbrush are provided in all rooms.
In addition to yukata, there will also be a samue (work clothing of Buddhist monks) provided. It is made with a double layer of gauze fabric, which is gentle on the skin. It absorbs perspiration well, and is comfortable to sleep in. The garment is also sold in the hotel.

[Meals]
Savor a monthly Kyoto-style kaiseki meal featuring dishes prepared with premium grade Hida beef, vegetables from Hakone, and fresh seafood from Odawara.
