From Morioka Station (JR Tohoku Shinkansen): Take the Iwate Galaxy Railway Line train and get off at Koma Station (about 20 minutes). Then take the JR Hanawa Line train and get off at Appi-Kogen Station (about 45 minutes). About 10 minutes by taxi from there.
By car: Exit the Tohoku Expressway at Matsuo Hachimantai IC and continue along Route 282 for about 20 minutes (15 km).
Hotel Appi Grand
As Hotel Appi Grand accepts Muslim guests, it has received the local halal mark certification. The hotel has received detailed guidance from Muslim advisors on various topics, including the purchase and management of ingredients, management and storage of tools, and cleaning methods, and complies with this guidance. For meals there are halal course menus, Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine, and set menus are also provided for breakfast and lunch. Please make reservations for the halal menu at least 5 days prior to accommodation. From Morioka Station (JR Tohoku Shinkansen): Take the JR Hanawa Line bound for Odate and get off at Appi-Kogen Station (about 60 minutes). About 10 minutes by taxi from there.
By car: Exit the Tohoku Expressway at Matsuo-Hachimantai IC or Ashiro IC and continue along Route 282 for about 15 minutes (10 km).

Hachimantai Heights

Ikoinomura Iwate

From Morioka Station (JR Tohoku Shinkansen): Take a bus bound for Matsukawa Onsen and get off at the Matsukawaso bus stop (about 110 min). It is about 7 min on foot from there.
By car: About 16 km (about 25 min) from Tohoku Expressway Matsuo Hachimantai IC.
Pension Palette
