By car: Exit the Kyushu Expressway at Matsubase IC and continue along Routes 266 and 324 for about 100 minutes (90 km).
From Kumamoto Station (JR Kagoshima Line): Take the bus bound for Sanko-shako-mae and get off at Hondo Bus Center (about 150 minutes). It takes about 7 minutes by taxi from there.
