Mt. Fuji Climbing 2 Days		From JPY 28,800 ( per person )

Tackle Mt. Fuji's challenging slopes in this English-guided tour! Begin your climb in the afternoon, grab a quick rest at an 8th station mountain hut, then arrive at Mt. Fuji's peak in time to see the sunrise!

Only available in summer! Experience Japan's national symbol up close by climbing from Mt. Fuji's 5th station to its peak, where you'll see the sun rise over Japan. You'll begin your climb shortly after arriving at Mt. Fuji's 5th station by bus from Tokyo. This tour also includes a chance to rest at one of the popular mountainside huts at the 8th station before departing for the final leg of your journey to the top! The climb to the top will be well worth it for the chance to see the sunrise from Japan's highest mountain.

Day 1: Tokyo - Mt. Fuji 5th station - 8th station

7:00 a.m. - Assemble at Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku.
7:30 a.m. - Leave Shinjuku via Chuo Expressway.
11:30 a.m. - Arrive at Mt. Fuji 5th station. Free time for lunch and climbing preparations.
1:00 p.m. - Leave Mt. Fuji 5th station via Kawaguchiko-Yoshidaguchi ascending route.
5:00 p.m. - Arrive at the 8th station (2,910m). Short stay at Toyokan lodge. Eat dinner and rest.
11:00 p.m. - Leave Toyokan lodge for the summit.

Day 2: 8th Station - Peak - 5th station - Tokyo

4:00 a.m. - Arrive at the summit. Watch the sunrise, and eat breakfast.
5:30 a.m. - Leave the summit via Kawaguchiko-Yoshidaguchi descending route.
9:00 a.m. - Arrive at the 5th station. Free time for lunch and resting.
11:30 a.m. - Depart the 5th station for Akiyama Spa (public onsen/hot spring).
1:00 p.m. - Arrive at Akiyama Spa. Free time to use hot spring baths.
3:00 p.m. - Depart for Shinjuku.
6:30 p.m. - Tour disbands on arrival at Shinjuku.

Meals	Dinner on Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2 are included. No vegetarian options are available.
Pick-up service	Not available. Please assemble at Hotel Keio Plaza Tokyo in Shinjuku at 7:00 a.m.
Drop-off service	Not available.

The English-speaking tour guide will accompany the tour group for the whole tour schedule. The climbing guide (Japanese-speaking only) will join the group from Mt. Fuji’s 5th station and will remain with the group to the summit and back (to the 5th station).

In the case of rain, the tour will still be operated. However, the tour may be cancelled at any time if the tour guide or the climbing guide determines that the weather conditions are unfit or unsafe for climbing the mountain. In addition, the tour itinerary, route, and schedule may change due to weather and/or heavy traffic.

For safety reasons, all tour participants are required to submit their names, addresses and emergency contacts, as well as fill out a form onboard the bus to Mt. Fuji.

No vegetarian menu is available at the hut. Tour participants with special meal preferences should bring their own food.

Children under the age of 6 cannot take part in this tour. Tour participants aged 6 – 15 years of age are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 20 years of age or older. Tour participants aged 16 – 19 years of age can join the tour alone on the condition that they can provide written permission from a parent or guardian.

If you arrive at the 5th station later than 11:30 a.m. on the 2nd day and miss the bus returning to Tokyo, you will be responsible for providing your own transportation.

Please inform Sunrise Tours of where you will be staying and a number where you can be reached on the day before the tour’s departure.
